The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were at Boringdon Park Golf Club yesterday morning – or at least cardboard cut outs of them were.
They were a prompt in the end of breakfast presentation given by the owner of ‘Scribble & Ink’ at the monthly networking meeting of Plym Chamber of Conmerce.
He explained how a business which was ailing when he took it over was turned around by putting a cardboard cut out of Kate and Wills in the office and training his staff to look at them before answering the phone. Staff were asked to treat the person on the end of the phone as if they were royalty and go the extra mile for them.
We also gave bottles of Wine to Lesley Allinson for introducing a new member and to Paul Mills for signing up to the Plym Chamber Breakfasts by standing order.
