At the Plym Chamber first Members Mingle, we had a look behind the scenes at the St Luke’s Distribution Centre, Plympton. We found out about the types of items that the Distribution Centre deals with on a regular basis as well as how the Centre operated and how much of what they get can be recycled, even burnt old saucepans!. We also found out about how the money raised (over £4m a year) by St Luke’s is used to fund the vital care that is needed by the people who use the St Luke’s service, which covers the whole of Devon, not just the Turnchapel site.
