Guest Speaker: Lisa – Parker Andrews

Lisa joined Parker Andrews in 2023 and has over 21 years of insolvency experience under her belt. Her career in insolvency started as an office administrator in 2002 having never heard the word ‘insolvency’ before! She found herself quickly promoted up through the ranks, sitting 8 exams in 2 years to qualify as an Insolvency Practitioner. She has been licensed since passing her JIEB examinations at her first attempt in 2008.

Lisa manages the Plymouth office and covers the south west patch for the firm. She offers a sympathetic ear and is reputed for maintaining integrity. She prides herself on advising all options available, even if that means signposting the client away from an appointment taking instruction. Her bread and butter work is liquidations – both solvent and insolvent.

As an inspiring author, Lisa spends much of her spare time working on her novels and assisting other writers by swapping critiques. Her favourite pastime is to snuggle up with a glass of wine in one hand and a thriller or a romcom in the other. She is a member of various author and writing groups.
