Today’s breakfast was the last of this year’s monthly breakfast networking events staged  by the Chamber and was attended by owners and senior employees of a number of local companies.

In a special twist for Christmas attendees had to draw a Christmas gift tag from a bag, find the person with the matching tag and give a brief promotion about that person’s business and an unusual fact about them.

Among the interesting facts to emerge was that one attendee was once Miss Southway and another had been a contestant in the English Monopoly Championships.

The morning was rounded off with a talk by Lucy Bassett from cleaning firm Bright and Beautiful who spoke of the ’12 stains of Christmas’ and gave some very useful tips on cleaning up the many different types of spillages which can occur over the Christmas period.

The Chamber’s monthly business breakfasts resume again on Tuesday 10th January 2017.
