What a brilliant turn out for the January breakfast we had this week! This breakfast we were lucky to have our member Kristy Burridge from Grosvenor G Casino Plymouth giving the monthly presentation. We were all in store for a treat as three chips were given to every person at the breakfast.

Kristy talked about how Grosvenor Casinos is part of The Rank Group plc alongside Mecca Bingos and Rank Interactive. The Rank Group is the largest casino operator in Great Britain with 57 casinos.

Trivia bits
The sandwich was created by the 4th Earl of sandwich.

Roulette
One of the creators, supposedly bargained with the devil to obtain the secrets of Roulette. The legend is based on the fact that the sum of all the numbers on the roulette wheel (from 1 to 36) is 666.

Kristy then proceeded to ask us all to take the 3 chips which she explained they were her tools of the trade,

The presentation was really well received and was interesting to learn about the casino trade.

As well as traditional casino gaming, Kristy also highlighted the offer of live entertainment, fantastic food and drink and how fun the casino can be.
