A number of local business leaders met at Boringdon Park Golf Club this morning for the monthly breakfast networking event organised by the Plym Chamber of Commerce.

A presentation was given by Mark Hinchliffe of Inch Solutions who specialise in the disposal of excess stock and supply of office furniture and catering equipment (www.inchsolutions.co.uk).

The meeting also heard about a new conveyancing website for Nash and Co Solicitors (www.nashconveyancingquote.co.uk), that Select Homecare now have a base in Plymstock providing various services for the elderly (www.select-homecare.co.uk) and Chris Menlove-Platt outlined his coaching and training service which is ‘helping people to help themselves’ (www.cmpcoachingandtraining.co.uk)

Excel Carpets who are based at the top of the Ridgeway announced that for February they have a special offer of free underlay and gripper with carpet purchases, Butterfly Lets gave details of their Domestic Letting, Property Maintenance and Repair Services (www.butterflylets.com) and among other contributions Nicola Marshall outlined that she is now a local outlet for Tropic Skincare, a business involving Susan Ma and Lord Sugar (www.plymreflexology.co.uk).

Stella Goodman of Excaliber Associates Ltd gave an outline of the independent financial advice services available from her company (http://www.excaliber-ifa.co.uk) and Europa Training indicated they were seeking placements for catering staff, construction workers and a car mechanic who are properly insured and available to work for free as part of various training placement schemes for workers from across Europe (http://www.europatrainingltd.com).
